  PRECONSTRUCTION

Build with Kinsley: Build with Value

Knowledge-based preconstruction services are mandatory in today's market to assure that projects of increasing complexity and demanding schedules become realities. The Kinsley Standard demands a collaborative team approach, consisting of the client, architect/engineer firms and Kinsley, with input from key subcontractors as required.

Proactive communications between the owner, architect, engineer and Kinsley in the early stages of design often yield project cost savings via Kinsley’s unique cost-to-value analyses and recommendations. Kinsley scrutinizes the details to assure that projects start efficiently and without surprises, from design to community relations and regulatory issues.

Value Engineering

Our team approach to value engineering concentrates on alternate materials, construction methods and sequencing. Kinsley also attempts to identify savings in areas that will not compromise the facility’s function, usable space or aesthetics.

Kinsley’s evaluation of the design and construction process begins during the conceptual phase of a project. During this phase, our designated project manager, project superintendent and project executive develop their initial plan to construct the project. Because of our experience with the design and construction of similar projects, Kinsley can make suggestions pertaining to materials that are cost-effective and have a long life with easy maintenance.
