Specialty Industries
Project: Addition to the Existing Plant

Kinsley originally constructed this facility in 1998 with a design that could accommodate future expansion. This project included many design challenges, but the biggest obstacle that Kinsley overcame was the vehicle access and egress for the building. The final resolution to this challenge was to construct an access road at the back of the site. Kinsley’s ability to provide construction forces for the upfront activities enabled the project to be completed within the required time frame.

GEA PHE Systems North America, Inc.

Kinsley completed this project in three phases. Phase I included construction of a manufacturing area and administration offices. Phase II included installation of a foundation and pits for a paint booth, blast booth and 25,000 ton press. Phase III was the addition for rack storage and a 9,600 square foot wet field used to test finished products. |

JLG Industries, Inc.
Project: Boom Manufacturing Plant
Location: McConnellsburg, PA
Square Feet: 120,000
Kinsley provided preliminary engineering, cost estimating, detailed engineering and construction services for the boom manufacturing complex. This facility's operations include parts fabrication, blasting, painting and final assembly. Construction involved extensive ductwork in the blasting and painting space and installation of a 10-ton crane in the boom fabrication location.

Project: Manufacturing and Office Facility
Location: York, PA
Square Feet: 138,400 - Total
Kinsley designed and built this firm's first United States faciltiy. This facility provides administrative, sales, employee services, engineering, purchasing, welding and machine shop, assembly, painting, finishing and final testing services. The manufacturing area is structural steel with insulated precast concrete wall panels.

This building's design includes an assembly area machine shop, bake-off ovens, industrial
washdown, electronic panel shop, testing and balancing equipment and a large office with administrative, marketing and employee service functions. The structure is a conventional steel frame with serveral overhead bridge cranes in each bay. |

This building contains manufacturing space and a mezzanine with a removable railing to allow storage access. Other areas in this facility include offices, conference space and a full kitchen and lunchroom. The unique horizontal metal siding on the exterior creates visual interest. |

Project: Manufacturing and Office Facility
Location: Mt. Union, PA
Square Feet: 200,000
This building is a state-of-the-art electronic connector plant that provides manufacturing, plating, shipping, receiving and warehouse services. The large single-story building is a conventional steel frame with split-face block and pre-finished metal panels. The manufacturing area allows containment of waste and soil protection. |
