Strand-Capital Performing Arts Center
Project: Renovation of Historic Theaters
Location: York, PA
Square Feet: 35,940 - Total
This renovation construction project modernized the theaters and also revitalized downtown York. Expanded areas include the main lobby, box office, restrooms, the stage house and the proscenium. The walls, ceilings, ornamental plaster and paintings were restored. |

Gettysburg National Battlefield Museum Foundation
Project: Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center

Accolades: Goal of Silver LEED Certifaction (2010), ABC Excellence in Construction Award
Kinsley provided construction management services for a new facility including a museum, visitor center and collections conservation and storage area. The facility is located on a 45-acre site. The project is a public/private partnership with the National Park Services.

York College of Pennsylvania
Project: Collegiate Performing Arts and Humanities Center
Location: York, PA
Square Feet: 117,750 - Total
Kinsley developed a logistics plan and a traffic/pedestrian safety and security plan to prevent disruption of college activites during construction. The project consisted of a state-of-the-art, 750-seat performing arts center with orchestra pit and playpen theater. The center also contains 26 classrooms, large group instruction, computer labs and a learning resouce area. |

Agricultural & Industrial Museum
Project: Additions and Renovations
Location: York, PA
The Agricultural & Industrial Museum provides a history of York Country industries. Kinsley renovated the lobby, installed an elevator and constructed new bathrooms, a transportation wing, display mezzanine and children's lunch area. The atmosphere now has a "rough" and industrial feel. |

The Park School
Project: Wayne Arts Center/ Lower School Addition
Location: Brooklandville, MD
Square Feet: 60,000
The building is conventional steel with concrete and masonry walls and a brick and glass veneer. Kinsley built a black box theater, art gallery and studio, ceramic studio, recording studio and music room, classrooms and photography and computer labs. |

Eichelberger Performing Arts Center
Project: Performing Arts Center Renovations
Location: Hanover, PA
Square Feet: 27,000
Kinsley completed extensive renovations to the building which included a control booth, orchestra pit, HVAC system, basement dressing rooms and lighting and sound systems. We also rebuilt the stage, refurbished the obervatory and built a concession stand under the balcony. |
