Shaping the future... Together.

Kinsley has successfully completed over 100 educational projects. This experience and focus presents a significant opportunity for Kinsley to work collaboratively with all of those involved and impacted by the construction process to ensure a seamless project experience.

Kinsley manages educational construction projects by first understanding the campus environment and then conducting an impact analysis to understand how the project will affect the campus and surrounding areas. Necessary precautions and procedures are developed to minimize the impact to the environment, educational activities, surrounding neighborhoods and project schedule. Understanding that safety is a primary concern, we develop stringent guidelines to ensure that all work completed on-site is incident-free. Preventing disruption to the educational process is of utmost importance. We work with your administration, faculty and others in the community affected by construction activities to minimize the disruption in traffic flow, both pedestrian and automobile, inside and outside of the premises.

A thorough and well-planned “phased construction” approach is critical to the final cost, ultimate success and overall satisfaction with the project. For educational projects, optimal construction scheduling is defined by key academic dates – the first and last day of an academic term and vacations – when you are not in session. The construction process itself must be analyzed and coordinated with that of the educational institution. Kinsley proactively works with the administration to effectively separate the demolition/construction activities from the educational activities when portions of a construction site are occupied and in use.

Our experience spans the following types of construction:

  • College/University
  • Private K-12
  • Vocational and research facilities
  • Campus housing (residence halls and apartments)
  • Classrooms
  • Laboratories
  • Performing arts
  • Libraries
  • Faculty offices and meeting rooms
  • Athletic and recreational facilities
